1 - Fixes and Changes in 6.0.0

LogiQ 6.0.0 is a Service Pack. It is a minor release which only affects a few modules. The current system must be at 5.9.1 to install this service pack. 

To describe the features and fixes included in this Service Pack the following notation is used.

Booking
Booking Schedule did not list Dates where the booking had been overpaid. Now it does.

Customer
Contact History Report did not produce any output. Now it does.

Backup
Scheduler now compatable with SQL 2008. Note Scheduler will not work with Express Editions of Database.

Access Control
Resize Photos to fit frame.

DeskTop
When starting Desktop will check the used percentage of the database log file and display a warning message if it exceeds 80%.

Direct Debits
New functionality to enable Logiq to interface with Debit Success. Loqiq will recieve and store Direct Debit information sent by Debit Success. Extensive changes to DD module and Customer module.

2 - Installation

  1. Please contact techsupport@qvisual.com.au to obtain upgrade files and assistance for carrying out upgrades.

  2. During an upgrade the following steps might be taken (with the assistance of Qvisual Support Staff):


  • Perform a full back up of the live database.

  • Create a new TEST database

  • Test the upgrade on the TEST database

  • Upgrade the LIVE database

  • Upgrade the client workstations

3 - Uninstalling

  1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Click Add or Remove Programs.

  3.  Scroll down to "LogiQ 5.9", or some other old version, click on it, and then click Change/Remove.
